![]() PSK-Reporter is fully integrated – as are HRD Log, EQSL, and LOTW uploads. The logbook needs to be active for the QSO info to populate correctly, QRZ.com’s xml subscription is needed. Now – what about my QRZ.COM logs – do I abandon them and switch over? TBD.ĭM780 also requires some stick time. HRD integrates with QRZ.COM xml and the logging function is working. HDR is cool but it’s the DM that is very useful for PSK31. Don’t know if it can be configured on any other port but it sure works well on com6. I did move things around before getting com6 to come up. I’m not sure what happens if you move the USB port used for the CAT. HRD takes getting used to and it took a bunch of trials to get the interface to read the frequency on the radio. Whether I spring $100 for the licensed version remains to be seen. This is the standard ham rig control package, and like a lot of ham software, is free and very functional, and has gone the way of some shareware – the original authors finally sell out in exhaustion, and the new owners turn to profit-making. With it I brought HRD and Digital Master 780 online for my FT857D. It took a few tries with the CAT cable until good friend and elmer kh6tz spotted me his spare USB CAT for the Yaesu 857 to use and this one works. ![]() To get HRD and digital master to work, the CAT needs to be working.
